Project Linus is a wonderful organization that I have supported for the past decade. The organization collects NEW handmade blankets and distributes them to children who are seriously ill or going through a traumatic experience. The blankets are meant to be like a warm hug of security for the recipient.
My children and I have always made No Sew Fleece Blankets for Project Linus. It is the perfect cozy project to do during the colder months. You can the blanket kits or get two pieces of coordinating fleece. I usually do all of the cutting for my children with fabric scissors and then they go and do all of the tying. Project Linus has clear instructions and pictures of how to make a No Sew Fleece Blanket (CLICK HERE).
There are many places to drop off the finished blankets all over the USA. CLICK HERE to find one near you.
